Cooking Lessons

During the lock-down period I have been doing quite a few Facebook live videos, I have had a number of people asking if I do cooking lessons. I have in the past done cooking classes from cooking over a fire to bread making and fermented foods. It is something I enjoy seeing people realise that they can produce the same foods that I do. The secret is learning the basics be that making a sauce to actually lighting a BBQ correctly.

I trained as a chef when I left school, I joined the army as an apprentice chef in 1984. So in one way or another, I have been cooking for over 35 years. From burgers in wimpy straight from school, banquets, food festivals, private cooking. My passion for cooking has never left me no matter what I have been doing.

I am a believer in keeping things simple and learning the basics from there you can experiment to your hearts content.

I am also qualified in nutrition so can teach you how to cook healthy, nutrient-dense meals, be it for weight loss, weight gain or simply weight management. Learning the importance of gut health is something I am very passionate about, as they say, healthy gut healthy mind and during these difficult times, it has never been more relevant.
